Time spent with family on Christmas morning is the best! My family usually plans to gather in the family room at a certain time that morning and we start with the fun stuff – opening presents. Us kids always began by sorting the gifts, making a pile for each person. Which has me thinking that it would be fun to switch up the usual “to: ; from:” tags or the gift wrapping! If you’re looking for a few different ways to make your gifts to your loved ones stand out, keep reading.
Photographs
This is probably one of the most unique ideas I’ve seen for gifts! Such a thoughtful process to pick your favorite photo of your loved ones and attach them to the gifts! I especially love the idea of using black and white photos so the wrapping paper and ribbons can still have a moment.

Different Wrapping Paper
This one might be a bit more common, but you can still spice it up and have fun with it! I think it would be especially cute if all of the papers went well together (like the photo below), but you just use different patterns for each person. You can also add in fun ribbons and string to make each gift different.

The First Letter of Their Name
Instead of writing out a full name, use first initial stickers or even ornaments! This one might be tough if you have a lot of names starting with the same letter. In that case, you’ll most likely have to implement another differentiator too. I love the metallic aspect that the initials bring to the gifts in the photo below!

Different Colored Ribbon
Use the same wrapping or craft paper for each gift and let the unique portion be the beautiful ribbon! Use a different color for each person – you can even mix up patterns within each color family. There are so many gorgeous ribbons available these days. My favorites come from Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Paper Mart, and Etsy!
