Ever feel like you need to pick a “theme” before you start your holiday shopping? Or maybe you’re hoping to switch up your typical “look” this year. I have a few suggestions for you.
Start by focusing on what your holiday style is – often it’s best to make sure this is in keeping with your current home decor so your holiday decor stands out, but doesn’t look out of place. If you prefer a modern style, stick with that for your Christmas decorations! Adding traditional elements will throw off your clean, sleek aesthetic. Same goes for any other style. Next: decide if you would like to stick to a specific color scheme. It’s okay if your decision is to go crazy with the colors! A bunch of colors together is still a color palette. But make sure you determine this before you start shopping.
I have four color schemes below that may help you get started. All of these schemes fall within a traditional/classic style. You can shop the products using the photos under each board!
P.S. If anything is not linked, it’s Ballard Designs! I’m not able to link Ballard on this system.
Soooo many good decorations below so I’ll let you get right to it!
