It’s that time of year – the best time of year! The Fall and Winter holidays are always sweet times for me because they are holidays that have an abundance of traditions and decorations – two things I love. Now that Jon and I are married, we are making new traditions for our little family and it’s so special. This will be Duncan’s first Christmas and I think we’ve already purchased 10 or more new toys for him .. oops! He’s a spoiled only child.
This will be our second Christmas season in our house and I’m thinking we’ll decorate even more this year than last year because .. 2020. Christmas decorations always start with the tree! If you’re looking for the perfect faux tree for your home, consider these elements when making your decision!
Size
The height of your tree directly depends on your ceiling height and your budget. The higher your ceilings, the taller your tree can be. However if you’re on a budget, you may need to scale back on the height just a bit. Here are a few options for two popular heights:

Flocked
Flocked trees look like they have snow on them, which adds another dimension to your tree and decor! Definitely a must if you’re going for a light and bright look. Also a good option if you’re interested in having a white tree, but don’t want to take the leap yet!

Pre-Lit
Obviously the easier choice for set up! Pre-lit trees are very convenient, however they can often be more expensive so keep that in mind!
